MORRIS ARLEIGH LINBO

The celebration of life for Morris Arleigh Linbo will be Monday, July 23, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Evanger Lutheran Church, 33554 ~ 660th Avenue, Sargeant, MN with Pastor Dwight Dobell officiating. Interment will be in Evanger Lutheran Cemetery. Morris Arleigh Linbo, 88, was called home to his Lord on Thursday morning, July 19, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Morris was born on October 27, 1923, the son of Anton and Agnes (Brekke) Linbo in Sargeant, MN. He was united in marriage to Opal Bertina Moen on April 19, 1945, in Hayfield, MN. Morris and Opal farmed in the rural Sargeant area most of their married life, until moving to Hayfield.

Morris will be sadly missed by his daughters, Gloria (John) Schaar, Rochester, MN; Gayle (Craig) Busch, Dodge Center, MN; Lynette (Vance) Larson, Alma, WI; Rene (Tony) Arendt, Mazeppa, MN; Kris (Doug) Streightiff, Sargeant, MN; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one brother, Tony Linbo, Omaha, NE and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Opal; and two brothers, John and Richard.

Visitation will be from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 ~ 2nd St. NW in Hayfield, MN and one hour before the service at the church on Monday. The family prefers memorials to Evanger Lutheran Church.
