Aidan John Hegge

Aidan John Hegge, 17, of Kasson, MN passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at his home.

Aidan was born on June 11, 2003 in Rochester, MN to Ryan and Jennifer (Shamp) Hegge.  He was about to start his junior year at Kasson-Mantorville High School.  Aidan loved anything hunting and fishing related.  He looked forward to his yearly hunting trip to North Dakota with his Grandpa Randy and Great Uncle Al.  He loved trap shoot and football. He also enjoyed playing his saxophone.

Aidan was tender, compassionate, gentle, kind, generous, loving, and gave the best hugs.  He always gave the biggest smiles.  He had a way of making people feel welcome and included, he cared so deeply for everyone he encountered.  He had a quick wit and loved a good laugh.  Aidan had a strong faith.  He was a good and loving brother, a good friend, and loved kids.  He loved his job at the pool as a lifeguard and everyone he worked with there.  Aidan loved a good steak and often was our family cook preparing us new things to eat.  He loved his dogs, Callie and Odin.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Aidan is survived by his parents, Ryan and Jennifer Hegge of Kasson, MN; brothers, Brody Hegge, Noah Hegge, and Caleb Hegge, all of Kasson, MN; grandparents, Randy and Karen Shamp of Austin, MN and Dennis and Amy Underdahl of Adams, MN; great-grandparents,  Roger and Beverly Reller, Lorraine Shamp, and Jack Hegge; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Hegge, great-grandparents, Virgil and Mavis Bergene, Lucille Hegge, and Vern Shamp.

Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7 ^th St SE in Kasson and one hour prior to the service at the church Saturday.  A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1904 Mantorville Ave N in Kasson, MN, with Father John Lasuba officiating. Due to the current health concerns and restrictions, please respect social distancing and the wearing of face masks both at the visitation and funeral.
