ALAN ROBERT BROWN

Alan Robert Brown, 55, passed away on September 11, 2017, in Rochester, MN.

Alan was born on February 25, 1962, the son of Neil and Sandra (Dahle) Brown in Byron, MN. Al attended grade school in Byron, MN and continued his education in Boca Raton, FL, when his family moved there in 1970. He returned to Minnesota in the early 1980's. He married Brenda Hohmeister on June 24, 1989. Three children were born to that union. Brenda passed away in 2009.

Al worked, primarily, as a mechanic and as a laborer in the construction industry. He enjoyed his many friends and brought a smile to everyone's face when he came into a room. He had a deep love for his kids and grandsons, and was very proud of each of them.

Al is survived by his daughters, Kayla Brown (Tony Chicos) and Lexi Brown, and his son, Chandler Brown, grandsons; mother, Sandy Dahle; father, Neil (Marlys) Brown; sister, Jean (Don) Hardy of Stuart, FL; brother, Tony (Laura) Brown of Eden Prairie, MN; a niece and two nephews; step-sisters, Amy Hansen of Zumbrota, and Sarah Benson of Oregon; aunts, uncles and cousins. Al also leaves his best friend and constant companion, his golden retriever, Maya.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
