ALICE LOUISE KROHN
The memorial service for Alice Louise Krohn will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015, at the 7th Day Baptist Church, 203 East Main Street in Dodge Center with Reverend Dale Rood officiating. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center at a later date.
Alice Louise Krohn, 98, passed away on March 16, 2015, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center.
Alice was born on May 24, 1916, the daughter of Albert and Ida (Bartlett) Houseman in Jasper County, Iowa. She attended the Red Brick School in Dodge County and High School in Kasson, MN. Alice was united in marriage to George M. Bonser on August 12, 1935, at the Steele County Fair in Owatonna and later divorced.
In January 29, 1976, she married Charles E. Krohn at Rochester, MN. Charles passed away on May 21, 2014.
Alice was a lifelong resident of Dodge County. She was a waitress at the Hub Café at Dodge Center, Home Bakery and Café in Kasson and clerked at the Gripps Food Market in Dodge Center. Alice was active in the 7th Day Baptist Church and was president of SDB Ladies Aid. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling and spending winters in Texas.
Alice is survived by her children; Bonnie Seymour, Tustin, CA; Vivian Kloppstein, Kasson, MN; Robert (Maria) Bonser, Kasson, MN; Barbara Mogen, West Concord, MN; Burton (Brenda) Bonser, Wabasha, MN; 1 step son, Mike Loomas, Milwaukee, OR; 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Norma Hennum, Salton Sea, CA; and Luverne Stenstad, Emily, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, William; 1 grandson, Kanton Bonser; 3 sisters, Bernice Boruff, Hazel Pratt, Fern Houseman; and 1 brother, Harvey Houseman.
Memorials preferred to donor's choice. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
