The funeral service for Alice Ruth Pesch will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st Street SE in Hayfield with Reverend Paul Hauschild officiating.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield.

Alice Ruth Pesch, 96, of Hayfield, MN passed away on January 7, 2018, at Field Crest Care Center. Alice was born on October 4, 1921, the daughter of Albert and Bernetta (Seeverts) Peterson in Hayfield, MN.

Alice worked at the Hayfield Window Company.  Alice was talented in sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She loved the outdoors, gardening and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of the Hayfield American Legion Auxiliary, President of the Ladies Church Circle for many years and was a Sunday School Teacher.

Alice was united in marriage to Joseph Cepelak in 1944, and he passed away in 1959. She married Glenn Pesch on June 18, 1960, in Hayfield, MN and he passed away in 2013.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Jane (Jerry) Struthers, Kasson, MN; Joan (Paul) Christians, Waltham, MN; son, Jerry (Carol) Cepelak, Hayfield, MN; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Joseph Cepelak and Glenn Pesch; one grandson, two sisters, Ardella Dalenberg and Beverly Thurman.
