ALICE SARAH WYTASKE
The funeral service for Alice Sarah Wytaske will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center with Pastor Tony Deach officiating. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja, MN. Visitation will be 5:00~8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday, January 2, 2015, and one hour before the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
Alice Sarah Wytaske, 86, passed away on December 30, 2014, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield.
Alice was born on March 27, 1928, the daughter of Antony and Selma (Orestein) Karlstad in Wanamingo, MN. She grew up in Wanamingo and worked at various factory jobs. Alice was united in marriage to Andrew Wytaske on September 30, 1947.
Alice was a member of a Craft Club and enjoyed being with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Alice is survived by her children, Dianne Starkson, Claremont, MN; David (Deb) Wytaske, Claremont, MN; Daniel (Rose) Wytaske, Dodge Center, MN; Darwin Wytaske, Claremont, MN; Dale (Lana) Wytaske, Robinsdale, MN; Derrin (Marsha) Wytaske, Claremont, MN; 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; sister, JoAnne Wytaske, Pine Island, MN; and special friend, Lynn Wytaske. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew; one brother; one sister, and 2 great twin grandsons.
