Andrew Lee Jech of Stewartville, MN passed away on March 15, 2025. Andrew was born on October 21, 1987, to Teresa Roland and Craig Jech in Rochester, MN. Andrew grew up in the Kasson-Mantorville area.
Andrew graduated in 2006, from Kasson-Mantorville High School. He started working in the drywall business when he was 16 years old. His passion for drywalling continued to grow and eventually, he started his own drywall business known as Jech Drywall.
Andrew has six children, Elizabeth Jech (17), Caleb (aka Parker) Jech (13), Brooks Jech (11), Daxton Jech (9), Ryder Jech (9), and a baby girl named Sutton due in May 2025. Andrew enjoyed hanging out with friends, hunting, fishing, camping, and music.
Andrew looked forward to the Jamboree every year where he got to hang out with good friends and family for the weekend and watch the races. Most of all he loved being with his children. They enjoyed having dance parties, movie nights with popcorn, campfires listening to music and going to the races every weekend they could. He was a wonderful father.
Andrew was the life of every party. He loved making comments or cracking jokes; which never failed to make everyone around him laugh and smile. His energy would electrify any room he walked into! Andrew touched so many lives and will have an everlasting impact on many people he has met. His memory will never fade.
Andrew is survived by his five, soon to be six children; his mother, Teresa; father, Craig; seven sisters; three brothers; and 23 nieces and nephews. As well as many aunts, uncles, friends and other family.
Andrew was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and one brother.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Dodge Center Community Center, 35 E Main St Dodge Center, MN. This will be a potluck and the family asks that anyone willing to bring a dish to share. Beverages (water and an assortment of pop) will be provided. Andrew’s family extends their gratitude to all the support they have received throughout this tragic loss. All financial donations will be used for his children's needs. Please come share memories with his family and friends in his honor.
