The graveside service for Andrew Alexander Uhrmann will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2009, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kasson, MN. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center, MN.
Andrew Alexander Uhrmann, 71, died Tuesday evening, April 7, 2009, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, MN.
Andrew Alexander Uhrmann was born May 15, 1937, the son of Andrew and Esther (Schmunk) Uhrmann in Monterey Park, CA. He lived in the Los Angeles area and worked as a machinist for McDonald Douglas and later for Air Research. After retirement he moved to Minnesota to be near family. He is remembered as enjoying murder mysteries on television and spending time with his family.
Andrew is survived by his sons, Gary Uhrmann, Dodge Center, MN; Steven Uhrmann, Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Randi Fate, Claremont, MN; brother, Fritz Uhrmann, Big Bear, CA; aunt, Irene Freese of Upland CA; 3 grandchildren, Erin, Nathan, Kerstie and 3 great grandsons, Damion, Kaiden and Collin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
