ANNA MARIE LANDERS

The funeral service for Anna Marie Landers will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012, at the Grace Lutheran Church, 404 Central Avenue North and Highway Street in Dodge Center, MN with Reverend William Natzke officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
Anna Marie Landers, 92, of Rochester, MN and formerly of Dodge Center, MN passed away on September 23, 2012, at Madonna Meadows in Rochester, MN.

Anna Marie was born on September 15, 1920, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Larsen) Christensen in Elk Point, SD. She was united in marriage to Ira F. Landers on October 15, 1939, in Elk Point, SD. She was a grocery store clerk in Oakland, IA from 1961-1992, and then Anna and her husband moved to Dodge Center. Ira died in 1994. Anna enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and really liked helping others.

Anna is survived by her sons, Gary (Peggy) Landers, Dodge Center, MN; Douglas (Sandra) Landers, Rochester, MN; six grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Lilly Boyer, Green Valley, AZ. She was preceded in death by her four brothers, one sister, two great granddaughters, and one great grandson.

The family would prefers memorials to Grace Lutheran Church, Madonna Meadows or St. Croix Hospice.
