Ardyce Elaine (Kruger) Haukom, 98, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026, with her beloved family at her side.

Ardyce Elaine Kruger was born May 31, 1927, daughter of Lucile (Janes) and Lloyd Kruger in Hayfield, MN

Ardyce married Curtis Haukom on April 20, 1946, at the First Presbyterian Church in Hayfield. Their union was blessed with 10 children, six sons and four daughters. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren

Ardyce spent her time quilting, crocheting, playing bingo, and keeping up on current events. She made friends wherever she went. She loved her friends, but most of all she loved her family and their visits.

Ardyce spent the early years of her marriage in the Kenyon, Lansing and Hayfield areas before settling in Brownsdale where she lived for 61 years. In 2015, she moved to Pickett Place in Austin, which she truly enjoyed.

Ardyce is survived by her children, Richard (Gail) Haukom, Rockland, MA, David (Mary) Haukom, Colorado Springs, CO, Charles (Pat Erichsen) Haukom, Mankato, Larry (Nancy) Haukom, Albert Lea, Melinda (Doni) Haugstad, Hayfield, Marsha (Arlin) Brigham, Kasson, Susan (Michael) Senjem, Rock Dell, James (Darlene) Haukom, Shakopee, Joan (Brad) Pater, Hayfield, and Terry (Bonnie) Haukom, Inver Grove Heights; her grandchildren, Kristen Croke, Tracey (Sean) Dooley, Mark Pierce, Matt (Jenny) Erichsen, Lisa (Michael) Teigen, Laura Luinstra, Travis (Crissy) Haugstad, Jeremy (Brandy) Haugstad, Rebecca (Mike) Halvorson, Michael (Emily) Brigham, Dustin (Katie) Senjem, Crystal (Karl) Juergensen, Jamie (Heather) Haukom, Jesse (Katie) Haukom, Katie (Gabe) Christenson, Katrina Haukom (partner Leland Harris) and Joshua (Rebecca) Haukom; her great-grandchildren, Kenneth, Brett and Matt Croke, Sean and Michael Dooley, Devon (Rachel) Pierce, Haley Pierce, Kyla Erichsen, Nicolas Rozwalka and Jonathan Teigen, Kolbe, Kade and Kamden Luinstra, Jakob Haugstad, Millie, Henry, Lydia Haugstad, Chelsea (Josh) Christian, Whitney and William Brigham, Grace (Dakota) York, Isabelle, Sophia and Brecken Senjem, Noah Juergensen, Cambryn Haukom, Cora and Cain Haukom, Faith and Jace Christenson and Ryan Haukom. She was also blessed with great-great-grandchildren, Avery Pierce, Joel, Leia, and Arya Pierce, Weston, Kynleigh Christian. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Kruger; sisters, Nancy Peter and Georgie Nolte; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Haukom and her brother, Robert Kruger.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 501 2nd St NW in Hayfield, MN with Pastor Dale Christianson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Brownsdale, MN.
