Visitation for Ashley Marie Fickert will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center, MN. There will be a memorial service at 6:15 p.m. with Reverend David Breederland officiating.

Ashley Fickert born on September 18th, 1983, went home to be with the Lord, October 25, 2014.

Ashley is survived by her mother, Carol Fickert; father, Leroy Fickert; two sisters, Lora Johnson and Nicole Cain; her nieces and nephews, Alexus, Mia, Ebin & Jaeden; great grandmother, Donna Kirchner, and her dear friend Ben.

Our hearts are shattered, but she is finally at peace. She fought hard the battles laid before her. But when the fight was gone, God put His hand on her and said "Enough, it's time to come home."
Ashley suffered from depression and anorexia; a battle greater than the rest of us can possibly understand. She was compassionate, loving and very unique. She'll be remembered for the beautiful person she was.

Now we must go on and for her memory show compassion to others, love and not hate, understanding, not anger.

We miss you "Ree" and will love you always.
