Aubrieana Rae Strain (Seavey)

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Aubrie Rae Strain, a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend, who left this world far too soon on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

Aubrie was born on May 4, 2002, and from the very beginning, she carried within her a quiet grace and radiant light that touched everyone she met. Gentle and soft-spoken, Aubrie possessed a soul that brimmed with compassion. Her kindness was effortless, her heart impossibly big. She loved deeply and gave freely – especially to those she held dearest: her family, her friends, and every animal lucky enough to find her.

She had the voice of an angel – delicate yet powerful – and when she sang, the world paused to listen. Whether she was laughing with her siblings or simply enjoying the quiet moments of togetherness, Aubrie found joy in the bonds of family, and her presence brought warmth to every room.

She is survived by her father, Ryan Seavey (Serena); her siblings, Sophie, Stella and Jack; her paternal grandparents, Daniel and Brenda Seavey; her paternal great-grandparents, Lorenz and Dixie Jech, and Roberta (Bobbi) Seavey; and her cherished uncle, David “Bink” Seavey (Jessica), Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. – Each of them carries a piece of her with them – in memories, in laughter, in music, and in love.

Aubrie’s absence leaves a silence that echoes louder than words can express. She will be missed in ways both countless and immeasurable. But we will carry her forward – in stories, in songs, in every kind act done in her name.

Rest gently, Aubrie Rae. You were a gift, and your love will never be forgotten.

The Seavey memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Dexter United Methodist Church, 230 Pleasant St in Dexter, MN.  Visitation will be one hour prior to her service at the church.  Friends and family are welcome.

The Hansen memorial service  will be at held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st St SE in Hayfield, MN, with Pastor Kristen Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the church.
