AURORA BEATIMA HERSCHLEY
Aurora Beatima Herschley, 89, of Dodge Center, MN passed away on May 2, 2017, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN.
Aurora was born on December 19, 1927, the daughter of Andres and Gabriela (Ariola) Beatima in Olongapo, Philippines.
Aurora was united in marriage to Kenneth Herschley on June 19, 1951, in the Philippines.
Aurora was a nursing assistant at Fairview Care Center for 25 years. She enjoyed oil painting, cooking, golfing, bowling, gardening, and canning.
Aurora is survived by her children, Robert "Jim" McHenry, Chula Vista, CA; Marilyn Edwards, Stewartville, MN; Debra Pflaum, Northfield, MN; 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; 11 brothers and sisters; two daughters, Gail Kraemer and Kathy Iverson.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center and one hour before the service at the church on Friday.
The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2017, at the First Congregational Church, 12~2nd Street NW in Dodge Center with Reverend Charles Schaal officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
