Barbra Ann Alberts

Barbra Ann Alberts, 90, of Mantorville, MN passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at her home.

Barb was born on June 3, 1935, in Dodge County, MN to Otto and Edna (King) Kraling. On October 2, 1955, she married Klaus Alberts at Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center, MN and together they had two children, Cynthia and Klaus.

Barb worked at the Register office at the Dodge County courthouse in Mantorville, MN for many years. She also worked as a personal shopper at Dayton’s department store and at Dr. Lillesvok’s office in Rochester, MN.

Barb enjoyed entertaining, decorating, and cooking. She was devoted member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kasson, MN.

Barb is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Brad) O’Connell of Menomonie, WI.; son, Klaus Craig (Mary) Alberts of Menomonie; grandchildren, Kristen O’Connell, Ed.D. of Victoria, Candace (David) Pesch of Albert Lea, Klaus Hiram (Samantha) Alberts of Mantorville, Kevin (Amy) Alberts of Menomonie, WI, and Colby (Dena) Alberts of Byron; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Charleen (Mike) Louks of West Concord, MN; and sister-in-law, Arlene Franz of WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of over 60 years, Klaus Alberts.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 301 8th Ave NW in Kasson, MN with Pastor John Weisenburger officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service at the church. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kasson, MN.
