BERNICE JEANETTE GIESLER

Bernice Jeanette Giesler, 101, passed away on December 13, 2020, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield.

Bernice was born on April 15, 1919, the daughter of Helmer and Clara (Moe) Hauglum in Dodge County, MN. She was united in marriage to Floyd Giesler on July 11, 1945 at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Bernice was a teacher in the Hayfield School District for 48 years. Bernice enjoyed gardening and flowers. After retirement she and her husband wintered in Sun City, Arizona.

Bernice is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; one brother, Rudy Hauglum and two sisters, Inez Hauglum and Cecile Hegna.

Visitation will be 10:00–11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1 ^st Street NE in Hayfield. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Paul Hauschild officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield.
