The funeral service for Betty Jane Kyllo will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st Street SE in Hayfield, MN with Reverend Paul Hauschild officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield, MN.
Betty Jane Kyllo, 82, passed away on Sunday afternoon, December 16, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Betty Jane was born on December 12, 1930, in Hayfield, MN the daughter of Henry and Clara (Exe) Thompson.
She was united in marriage to Sterling Kyllo on February 14, 1948, in Hayfield, MN. Betty was a homemaker and had worked at the Hayfield School and also at Otto's Bakery in Hayfield. She enjoyed camping, cooking, dancing, and going out to eat and most of all, getting together with family .
Betty is survived by her husband, Sterling Kyllo, Hayfield, MN; children, Mike (Sheila) Kyllo, Hayfield, MN; Jim (Denise) Kyllo, Hayfield, MN; Pete (Julie) Kyllo, Hayfield, MN; Mary Jane (Mark) Pierson, Albert Lea, MN; ten grandchildren, Matthew and Mikaela Pierson; Cory and Dawn (Boelter) Kyllo; Melissa (Kyllo) and Kent Dudycha; Rebecca (Kyllo) and Jacob Dahle; Megan (Kyllo) and Paul Johnson; Leah (Kyllo) and Brian Beyer; Jenny (Peterson) and Keith Framsted; Lindsay and Jessica Kyllo; twelve great grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Thompson, Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, December 19, 2012, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield, MN, and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
