Betty Ann Staffon (Wiuff), 88, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN.
Betty was born in Morristown, MN on May 20, 1938. She grew up in and graduated from West Concord and was Salutatorian of her class.
Betty was employed as a bookkeeper by Marigold for many years, and then at Greenway before enjoying retirement.
Betty enjoyed spending time with family, doing jigsaw puzzles and getting lunch with girlfriends. You would often find her cheering on the MN Twins or reading library books.
She and Ray loved traveling all over the country - her favorite spot being Branson, MO to listen to country music. Her front door was always open for visitors and family and her cookie jar was always fully stocked.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Rose; three brothers, Donald, Richard, and Larry; sister, Barb; her daughter, Wendi; great-grandson, Skyler; and longtime partner, Ray Ramer.
She is survived by her sister, Peggy (Lawrence) Vrieze; children, Lona (Dale) Jensen, Lora (Gene Knott) Walker, and Faron (Kate) Staffon; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to honor Betty’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Dodge Center United Methodist Church, 20 1st St NE in Dodge Center, MN with Rev. Dr. Daren Flinck officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of her service at the church. A luncheon will immediately follow her service. Inurnment will be at 2:30 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center, MN.
