A Funeral Mass for Beverly Elaine Eipers will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at St. John Baptist De La Salle Catholic Church 20 ~ 2nd Street NE, in Dodge Center, MN with Reverend Will Thompson celebrating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
Beverly Elaine Eipers, 73, of Dodge Center passed away at her home in Dodge Center on Sunday morning, August 7, 2011, after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma.
Beverly was born on January 9, 1938, the daughter of Gordon and Mae (Glover) Konicek in Joliet, IL. After high school she worked for one year at an Insurance Company. She was united in marriage to Earl Eipers on December 28, 1955, in Lockport, IL.
Beverly joined her husband, who was in the Navy, in Guam. After his Naval Service they farmed in Illinois. In 1973, Earl and Beverly purchased a farm near Dodge Center.
Beverly enjoyed her grandchildren, Christmas, decorating, working in the yard with flowers, and Relay for Life. She was a cancer survivor for 32 years because of her faith and excellent care by Mayo physicians, Dr. Robert Kyle and Dr. Angela Dispenzieri.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Earl Eipers, Dodge Center, MN; three sons, Kevin (Diana) Eipers, Claremont, MN; Randall (Theresa) Eipers, Dodge Center, MN; Steven (Julie) Eipers, Dodge Center, MN; one daughter, Marla Kristine (Bruce) Smith, Dodge Center, MN; mother-in-law, Rose Eipers, Joliet, IL; thirteen grandchildren, (seven grandsons, six granddaughters); seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Mardell (Ray) McDaniel, Glen Carbon, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, August 9, 2011, at the church with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. The family prefers memorials to Cancer Research. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center is in charge of arrangements.
