Blaine Ezra Delzer

Blaine Ezra Delzer, 57, of Mantorville, MN passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN.

Blaine was born on September 8, 1963, in Rochester, MN to David and Marlys (Langworthy) Delzer.  In 1982 he graduated from Dodge Center High School and then received a degree from UW River Falls in agricultural science.  He worked in many different positions in agriculture.  He most recently worked for Dodge County Soil and Water Conservation.  He married Becky Robertson on May 31, 1986, and together they had three daughters, Cadelan, Molly and Hannah.   They later separated.

Blaine was known for many things.  He was an entertainer in every setting, singing and dancing or making jokes and bringing smiles to faces with his boisterous laugh.  He loved his farm, his animals, his target sports and hunting, attending car shows, and most of all spending time with his daughters and grandbabies.  He would drop everything to support those he loved; he will be deeply missed.

Blaine is survived by his significant other, Laurie Weatherly; children, Cadelan (Michael) Dose, Molly Delzer, and Hannah Delzer; grandchildren, Lesley Dose and Milo Solomonson; mother, Marlys Delzer; siblings, Steve (Sandy) Delzer, Harlan (Peggy) Delzer, Gwen (Leon) Rose, Gayle (Steve) Vangness, Vicky (Mario) Guy, David Pearson, Cyndi (William) Long, and Tomomi (Ron) Ganrude; former spouse, Becky Robertson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Delzer.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7 ^th St SE Kasson, MN with Pastor Jacob Hanson officiating.   Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes in Kasson and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday.  A private family interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center, MN.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Dodge County Tree Program, Triton and Hayfield FFA, or Dodge County 4-H.
