Bonnie Jean Arndt

Bonnie Jean (Baker) Arndt, 80, of Kasson, MN earned her wings on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.  She was born on July 27, 1943, to Ralph and Phyllis (DeYoung) Baker.  She was raised and graduated school in Kasson, MN.  Bonnie lost her mom at the age of 11 and gained a new loving mother, Carole Baker.  On December 4, 1982, Bonnie married Michael Arndt and together they raised five children.

Bonnie worked and retired from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.  After retiring, they moved up north and spent their days truly loving their beloved dogs, Joey, Gracie and Abby along with being an amazing cook, baker and her love of birds.

Bonnie leaves behind her children, Melissa (Brent) Bonham of California, Lougene (James) McClaflin of Byron, Eugene (Sue) Arndt of Mantorville and Russell (Mary Jo) Arndt of Byron; sister, Kim Kiefer; brother, Bob Baker; 3 nieces and 1 nephew; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren with two on the way.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis; her father, Ralph; and her son, Scottie.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 301 8th Ave NW in Kasson, MN with Pastor John Weisenburger officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Kasson, MN.
