The funeral service for Bonnie Jean Stephens will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st Street SE in Hayfield with Reverend Paul Hauschild officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center, MN.

Bonnie Jean Stephens, 77, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 31, 2013, at her home in Hayfield, MN.

Bonnie was born on March 9, 1936, the daughter of Virgil and Florence (Simpson) Louks in Northfield, MN. Bonnie was united in marriage to Bobbie Stephens on August 4, 1956. Bobbie died in September of 1992. She was a homemaker and worked at Hayfield Window Company. Bonnie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the church circle.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Jody Stephens, Indianola, IA; four brothers, Jerry (Arlene) Louks, Owatonna, MN; Dick (Jean) Louks, Mantorville, MN; Butch Louks, and Terry Louks, both of Park Rapids, MN; six sisters, Peggy Poffenberger, Kasson, MN; Linda (Danny) Brockmiller, Hayfield, MN; Pat (Tony) Distad, Kasson, MN; Verta Johnson, Rushford, MN; "Liz" Vivian (Leonard) Westin, Dexter, MN; Mary Hegna; Kasson, MN; five grandchildren, Bryce, Samantha, and Bobbie Stephens; and Sandra and Brian Thorstenson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, one daughter; four sisters and five brothers.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Sunday, August 4, 2013.
