The military memorial service for Bradley Scott Schmoll will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, at the Peace Lutheran Church, Oak and Second St. in Claremont, MN with Reverend Daniel Provost officiating. Spring inurnment in Blooming Prairie Cemetery, Blooming Prairie, MN. Bradley was an organ donor.

Bradley Scott Schmoll, 47, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012. He was born on June 30, 1964, the son of Leonard and Donna (Filley) Schmoll in Owatonna. Bradley was baptized and confirmed at the Peace Lutheran Church, Claremont, MN. He attended Claremont High School and later got his GED at Fort Hood, Texas.

Brad joined the US Army in 1982, and served part of that time in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1988. Brad was a Boy Scout, an avid sports fan, played in school sports, enjoyed Horse Shoe, League Darts, Sudoku and a good game of cards. He also loved dogs.

Bradley is survived by his mother, Donna Schmoll, Claremont, MN; sisters, Diane (Don) Dereng, Kasson, MN; Barbara (Benj) St. John, Blooming Prairie, MN; three brothers, Leonard Jr. "Lenny" (Karla) Schmoll, West Concord, MN; Gregory (Peggy) Schmoll, Cottage Grove, MN; Jeffrey (Anastasia) Schmoll, Carlsbad, CA; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Leonard; and sister, Susan Schmoll.

Visitation will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at the Peace Lutheran Church in Claremont and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
