The memorial service for Brian Gene Wutschke will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Highway 56 & 410 SW 3rd Avenue in Dodge Center with Pastor Thomas Bentley officiating. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
Brian Gene Wutschke, 50, of Kasson, MN died Thursday (July 2, 2009) as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Brian was born on July 2, 1959, at Rochester, MN the son of Duane and Nancy (Hegna) Wutschke. He graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1977. He married Lora Machacek on May 24, 1980. They later divorced in 2006. Brian worked for the telephone company for many years, city of Dodge Center, and was currently employed at McNeilus Steel. He was a very devoted father and loved all his family dearly. Brian was a wrestler in high school. After his children were born he was involved in Hockey. All three boys were hockey players. He always enjoyed going to Hockey games with his family and Pat McNeilus. Brian loved his motorcycle. He was so proud when he got his Harley last year.
Brian is survived by three sons, Matthew, Rochester, MN; Steven, Byron, MN; Michael, Kasson, MN; mother, Nancy Wutschke, Dodge Center, MN; one brother, Barrie (Julie) Wutschke, Eyota; two sisters, Angie Broitzman, Rochester, MN; Kris Morrow, Dodge Center, MN; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Wutschke.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 110 West Main Street in Dodge Center and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
