The funeral service for Carol Jean Burkhart will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Praise Fellowship Church, 602 Central Avenue South with Pastor Roger Langworthy officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
Carol Jean Burkhart, 75, passed away on Wednesday evening, November 5, 2014, at her home in Kasson MN.
Carol was born on July 22, 1939, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Dunkel) Bruski in Ramsey County, MN.
Carol was united in marriage to Douglas Burkhart on April 21, 1971 in Webster. SD. Carol went to school at the Owatonna State School and worked as a nursing assistant in St. Paul. She was a member of Praise Fellowship Church in Dodge Center. Carol enjoyed word puzzles, music, and TV games.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Robin (Steven) Heim, Stewartville, MN; three grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, and Cheyenne Heim; sisters, Mary (Jerry) Warner, White Bear Lake, MN; Margaret Murphy, Chaska, MN; Sharon (Randy) Raduenz, Stillwater, MN; brothers, Robert (Agnes) Bruski, Little Canada, MN; and William Bruski, Northern, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2005, and siblings, John, Richard, Jerry, and Shirley.
