CECIL WAYNE BROMLEY
The funeral service for Cecil Wayne Bromley will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at the First Presbyterian Church in Kasson, Minnesota with Reverend Clint Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center, Minnesota.
Cecil Wayne Bromley, 80, of Dodge Center, Minnesota died Friday, January 30, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Cecil Wayne Bromley was born on April 26, 1928, the son of Otto and Iva (Leighton) Bromley in Dodge Center, Minnesota. He graduated from Claremont High School. Cecil was united in marriage to Marjorie Jeanne O’Neil on January 13, 1952, in Blooming Prairie, MN. He farmed in Ripley Township, Dodge County, for many years and also for Patterson Implement as a parts man in Kasson. In 1981, they moved to Faribault and lived on Roberds Lake and worked for Faribault Parts Assembly. He and his wife moved back to Dodge Center in 2004. Cecil enjoyed fishing, day trips, gardening, collecting toy tractors, caterpillar construction equipment, and he loved his grandchildren.
Cecil is survived by Gary (JoAnn) Bromley, Mantorville, MN; Donna (Bruce) Jorgenson, Dodge Center, MN; Robert Bromley, Dodge Center, MN; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Marjorie in 2006, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2009, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center, MN and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.
