Chandra Joy Calhoun

Chandra was born February 10th, 1970, to Marjean and James Calhoun in Rochester, MN. She graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 1989. In 2000, Chandra moved to Kaukauna, WI. She had worked as an equipment maintenance technician at Ducommun LaBarge Technologies in Appleton, WI for 18 years, where she was an incredibly hard worker and dedicated employee. Chandra was happy to act as a mentor to any co-workers who needed help, advice, or a good laugh.

Chandra had the biggest, most generous heart; always reaching out to others in an attempt to make her loved ones lives a little bit easier and a whole lot happier. She was a loving daughter, protective sister, fun loving auntie, loyal friend and fierce Minnesota Vikings fan. Her compassion and gentle spirit will be sorely missed.

In her passing, Chandra will once again be united with her father, James Frederick Calhoun; grandparents, Ada and Harold Mahnke, David and Irene Calhoun, and Betty Dean. Those who will be carrying on her love and light are her parents, Marjean and William Tietje; sisters, Clarrissa (Mark) Dupre, Tara (Jack) Smalley, Tia (Scott Shonka) Calhoun, Courtney (Kevin) Jacques, Stepheni (Cody) Nelson, and Shayna (Dustin) Swiers; and all of her beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her family, she will also be loved and remembered by her godchildren.

A Celebration and Memorial of her life will be held in her home-town of Kasson, MN, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th Street SE Kasson, MN, on Saturday November 10th, 2018 from 1pm-4pm.
