Charles Gary Kellogg

Charles Gary Kellogg, 74, of Mantorville, MN went home to be with Jesus on the afternoon of Friday, January 6, 2023.  Gary put Jesus first in his life and was a caring, devoted husband, father, and grandfather to his four grandchildren.

Gary worked as a civil engineer up until his last day on earth and enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, and close friends.  He had many hobbies and interests throughout his life including: cross country skiing, golf, reading, painting, gardening, walking, the speed of light, teaching, writing books, and spoiling his two cats, Nancy and Bigby.

Gary was a kind, caring, authentic and generous man who always put other’s needs in front of his own and who genuinely believed in people encouraging them to become all that God had created and intended them to be.  Charles Gary Kellogg will be truly missed by all who knew him and had the opportunity to cross paths with him.  His family takes comfort that they will see Gary in Heaven soon. It’s not goodbye to Gary, it’s see you later Gary.

Gary is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Karees; son, Tait; son-in-law, Steven; four grandchildren, Evy, Charlie, Joanna, and Esther; father, Charlie Kellogg; brothers, Ron Kellogg and Paul Kellogg.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023, at South Zumbro Lutheran Church, 4830 120th Ave SW Kasson, MN, with Pastor Pete Wyttenbach officiating, with a reception to follow. A private family burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville, MN.
