Christina Joy Nolt

Christina Joy Nolt, 39, of Dodge Center, MN passed away from T Cell Lymphoma on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at her home.

Christy was born on March 22, 1982, to Mahlon and Regina (Troyer) Hershberger in Millersburg, OH.  She married her husband, Delvin Nolt and together they had four children.

Christy was diagnosed with Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma on September 11, 2019.  Through the next two years it meant trips for treatments and some study trials.  Nothing was successful.   Her journey here on earth was short, but she was one you never heard complaining.    She was a good support to her husband, who is a farmer and a pastor, and she was a great mom to her four children.  She loved gardening, organizing, shopping, and attending garage sales.  Her visits to a coffee shop were always a highlight to her day.   Her Christian example of love for God and then loving those around her was a great testimony.

Christy is survived by her husband, Delvin Nolt; children, Maleah, Shawn, Deklan, and Brenden; parents, Mahlon and Regina Hershberger; brothers, Dan (Brittney) Hershberger and Jason (Jordan) Hershberger and sister, Mary Hershberger.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Darwin and Violet (Stutzman) Troyer and paternal grandparents, Mose and Lydia (Peachy) Hershberger.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Community Celebration Church, 27337 County Hwy 34 in Kasson, MN.  Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2021, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center, MN.  Interment will be in Riverside cemetery in Dodge Center, MN.
