Cleda E. Blumenrader

Cleda E. Blumenrader, 95, of Spring Park, MN formerly of Austin, MN died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Lake Minnetonka Shores Care Center in Spring Park, MN.
Cleda Evelyn Sherwood was born on May 27, 1919 in Oelwein, IA to Frank and Cora (Milke) Sherwood. Cleda married Robert Doty in 1938, they later divorced. She married Lawrence Blumenrader in 1973. Lawrence passed away in 1984. Cleda worked for the Austin School Systems, the Austin Hospital for 8 years and retired after 15 years working in the medical records department at the Mayo Clinic. Cleda enjoyed knitting, crocheting, music, old movies and gambling. Cleda especially loved to visit with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Cleda is survived by her daughter, Susan Hinsch of Waltham, MN; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one husband; one brother; two sisters; two daughters and a son.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes in Hayfield with the Reverend Mary Pauluk officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, MN.
