CURTIS EDWARD LARSON

The funeral service for Curtis Edward Larson will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 70640 260th Avenue in Hayfield, MN with Reverend Darby Lawrence officiating. Interment will be at West St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery.
Curtis Edward Larson, 86, died September 21, 2010 at his home in rural Kasson, MN.
Curtis Edward Larson was born on October 26, 1923, in Canisteo Township, Dodge County, MN the son of Edward and Caroline (Severson) Larson. He was united in marriage to Marlys Frederick at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester on April 27, 1957. Marlys died August 11, 1994. Curtis farmed in rural Kasson all his life. He raised Angus beef cattle, and was a good judge of cattle. He hauled milk 60 years for Vernon Creamery near Oslo and AMPI in Rochester. Curtis never missed a day of work and never took a vacation. He was a lifelong member of West St. Olaf Lutheran Church.
Curtis is survived by special friend, Marjorie Scott, Chatfield, MN; two brothers, Levern Larson, and Sterling Larson, both of Kasson, MN; sisters-in-law, Marian Larson, Kasson, MN; Dorothy Larson, Croswell, MI; nieces, nephews and many good neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marlys; sister, Alice Hanson, three brothers, Stewart, Gordon, David; brother-in-law, Leverne Hanson; three sisters-in-law, Wava, Phyllis, and Raymona Larson.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Monday.
