Dale Lowell Cady

Dale Lowell Cady, 80, of Kasson, passed away at the Kenyon Sunset Home in Kenyon on July 5, 2010 of natural causes. He was born in Dodge County, MN on August 22, 1929. Dale and his twin brother were born to Ray and Eva (Hodge) on the family farm. He grew up in Dodge County and moved to St. Paul, MN to work for Rogers Painting and Decorating. He met his wife, Alice Clark while in St. Paul. He then moved to Concord, MN owned and ran the Concord Store and Locker with his wife, Alice. Later he worked for McNeilus Steel in Dodge Center for many years, retiring from there on April 1, 2002. He loved to garden and do lawnwork.

Dale is survived by his wife of Kasson; daughter, Bev (Lonnie) Oakland of Dodge Center; step daughter, Barb Clark of Rochester; step-son, Chuck Clark of Kasson; two granddaughters, Amanda and Katelyn Oakland of Dodge Center; one step granddaugther, Brianna Knudson of Rochester; one step grandson, Nolan Knudson of Rochester. He is also survived by two sisters, Jo Head of Kasson and Phyllis (Victor) Scott of Rochester; and one brother, Milton (Dorothy) of Douglas. He was preceded in death by one grandson; his parents; two brothers; and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 410 - 3rd Ave SW, Dodge Center, with Pastor Tom Bentley officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
