Daniel Delford Day

Daniel Delford Day, 83, of Waltham, MN passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Field Crest Care in Hayfield, MN.

Daniel was born on October 14, 1942, in Greenbush, MN to Delford and Adeline (Brekke) Day. He married Beverly Noble on March 1, 1963, and together they had five children. In 1980, they moved to Dandridge, TN, where they resided for 35 years. The couple then moved to Waltham, MN in 2015.

Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family, reading the Bible and any book he could get a hold of. He drove semi for many, many years and even got himself in the papers reading under his semi-truck.

Daniel is survived by his children, Sam (Jan) Day of Dandridge, TN, Mike (Shannon) Day of Bryron, MN, Ronda (Brett) Rohl of Waltham, MN, and Matt (Beth) Day of Elgin, MN; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Copeman and Eunice Nofsinger; 4 brothers, Steve Day, Tim Day, Tom Day, and Jim Day; 11 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly Day; and his daughter, Bethany Day.

A private family service will be held at Union Cemetery in Pleasant Grove, MN. Flowers and memorials can be sent to Rhonda Rohl at Field Crest Care Center Assisted Living.
