Darlene Joy Cederstrom

Darlene Joy Cederstrom, 76, of West Concord, MN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

Darlene was born on February 22, 1946, in Duluth, MN to Harold and Dorothy (Rich) Garver.  She married James Cederstrom on September 18, 1964, and together they had five children. She was a member of Faith Community Church in West Concord, MN.  She will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed enough to know her.

Darlene loved spending time with her family, attending her grandchildren’s activities, fishing, reading her bible, attending church, taking walks, and spending time at the Salvation Army Camp.

Darlene is survived by her husband, James Cederstrom of West Concord, MN; children, Jim (Melissa) Cederstrom of Finlayson, MN, Randy (Tracy) Cederstrom of Jordan, MN, Carrie (Cedric Harrell) Jones of Rochester, MN, and Brenton (Kelly) Cederstrom of Owatonna, MN; son-in-law, Tom Jungers of Kasson, MN; brother, Ray Garver of Denver, CO; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Garver; sister, Pat Laurin; and her beloved daughter, Shawn Jungers.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday April 22, 2022, at Faith Community Church, 305 State Street in West Concord, MN with Pastor David Breederland officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in Oneota Cemetery in Duluth, MN.
