DARLENE CLARA CHESLEY

Darlene Clara Chesley, 69, of Dodge Center, MN passed away on May 21, 2018, at Samaritan Bethany in Rochester, MN.

Darlene was born on August 29, 1948, the daughter of Martin and Clara (Flint) Lentz in Emmetsburg, IA.

She graduated from Mountain Lake High School in 1967.

Darlene was united in marriage to Verlin Chesley on July 6, 1968, in Windom, MN. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, quilting, bingo, her dog, Ace and Julie's dog, Bubba.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Verlin Chesley, Dodge Center, MN; daughters, Michelle Chesley, Dodge Center, MN; Julie Chesley, Austin, MN; Sherry (Lawrence) Strang, Dodge Center, MN; Terrie Calvedt, Owatonna, MN; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two brothers, John Lentz, Dodge Center, MN; Bob Herman, Cobden, MN; and one sister, Susan Lamaster, Dodge Center, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister.

Funeral service will 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2018, at Faith Lutheran Church, 308 2nd Street NW in Dodge Center with Reverend Barbara Streed officiting. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.

Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center is assisting with arrangements.
