David Paul Klocke

David Paul Klocke, 74, of Kasson, MN passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN.

Dave was born on April 26, 1951, in Austin, MN to Paul and Darlene (Loew) Klocke.  He graduated from Anchorage Alaska Schools.  He served in the Alaskan National Guard from 1969-1975.  On November 29, 1969, he married Cheryl Duncan in Alaska, together they had three children.  Dave and Cheryl moved to Minnesota in 1975, when Dave started his own business, Dave’s Insulation.

Dave was a very creative and social person.  You would often find him enjoying a cocktail by the campfire, telling stories and jokes.  He offered advice to anyone who would listen to him.  He loved any outdoor activities including traveling, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family, friends, and his animals.

Dave is survived by his wife, Cheryl Klocke; children, Deb (Sherman) Blaisdell, Cindy (Aaron Peterson) Klocke, and Travis (Kay) Klocke; three grandchildren, Kelli Lehnertz, Reese Blaisdell, and Hayven Iverson; great-grandson, River Lehnertz; siblings, Peggy Haasl and Carol Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sharon Laramie.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE in Kasson, MN with Pastor Pete Wyttenbach officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to his service at the funeral home. Military Honors will be provided by the Kasson American Legion Post 333.  A celebration of life will immediately follow his service at the Kasson American Legion Post 333, 212 W Main St in Kasson, MN.
