DONALD JOHNSON
The funeral service for Donald Johnson will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2008, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
Donald Johnson, 76, died at his home in Richmond, MN on November 22, 2008.
Donald Johnson was born on April 16, 1932, in Dodge Center, MN the son of Alvin and Gladys (Krock) Johnson. Donald was stationed in Greenland and was part of the Knights of the Blue Nose 549th AAA Battalion in the US Army. Donald was united in marriage to Joyce Godfrey on August 20, 1955, in Mason City, Iowa. Joyce died May, 1982. He worked at American Can Company in St. Paul, MN for 35 years and retired July 1990. He lived in White Bear Lake before he moved to Richmond, MN in 1993. He lived on the Horseshoe Chain of the Lakes, and loved to fish and relax on his deck overlooking the lake.
Donald is survived by one son, Patrick Johnson, Richmond, MN; three daughters, Kathy (Jeffrey) Brooks, Alexandria, MN; Robin (Wally) Kedrowski, West St. Paul, MN; Julie (Larrie) Mack, Stanchfield, MN; Mother, Gladys Johnson, Dodge Center, MN; one brother, Richard Johnson, Dodge Center, MN; three sisters, Joyce (Al) Rasmussen, White Bear Lake MN; Ardie (Burt) Ramaker, Rochester, MN; Barb (Wally) Swing, Forest Lake, MN; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. November 28, 2008, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center.
