DONNA MARIE BRUCK

The memorial service for Donna Marie Bruck will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st Street SE in Hayfield, Minnesota with Reverend Paul Hauschild officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
Donna Marie Bruck, 86, died at Samaritan Bethany on 8th in Rochester, MN on Tuesday evening, September 14, 2010.
Donna Marie Bakke was born on June 14, 1924, the daughter of Carl Obert and Vida Marie (Gandy) Bakke in Dodge County, Minnesota. She attended schools in the rural Hayfield area. She was united in marriage to Philip Bruck on December 23, 1945, and later divorced. Donna worked at Northwestern Bell as supervisor for 36 years. She retired June 2, 1981. Donna was a member of the Hayfield American Legion Auxiliary, Trinity Lutheran Church, and Ladies Circle at Church. Donna volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and was a caregiver to relatives.
Donna is survived by her son, Terry (Mary) Bruck, Rochester, MN; four grandchildren, Julia (Jerry) Capone, Merrilee (Isaac) Swain, Michelle (Todd) Tobin, Carl Bruck; four great grandchildren, Hannah, Paige, Noah and Lydia; one sister, Maxine Westin, Waterloo, IA; and one brother, Maurice (Mary) Bakke, Gainesville, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 501 2nd Street in Hayfield is in charge of arrangements.
