Donna Lou Jorgenson

Donna was born on April 27th, 1934, the daughter of Curtis and Edna Lee. She was joined in marriage to Junior Jorgenson on January 16th, 1952.  They were married for 70 loving loving years and cherished each moment together.  With this love of each other they had 5 sons and 1 daughter along with 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Donna's favorite past-time was gardening, canning, baking along with watching the food channel and getting recipes, dancing, camping and we can't forget....anything to do with Elvis.

For 27 years they spent their retirement in Apache Junction, AZ and her favorite time of day was at 4 p.m. when Happy Hour began with friends and some of those years were with family.

Donna is survived by her husband Junior; children, Ken (Marnie) Jorgenson, Wayne (Linda) Jorgenson, Bruce (Donna) Jorgenson, Kevin (Sue) Jorgenson, Caroline Larson, Scott (Lisa) Jorgenson; grandchildren, Steve, John, Angie, Jeremy, Melissa, Josh, Chelsey, Jake, Nicole, Ashley, Cora, Aryanna and Caden; great grandchildren, Brandon, Carter, Miranda, Dylan, Jaden, Cooper, Kaelyn, Noah, Landon, Elliott, Emmett, Elliana, Carsen, Callie, Lexus, Thatcher and Braydon; siblings, Glenda (Gene) Schwemmer, Carol Bassett, Katherine (James) Annis, Dale (Jody) Lee, Bonnie (Jeff) Hinkle and Wendy (Jeff) Pullar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Edna Lee and her sister, Beverly Poffenberger.

Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24th, 2022, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd St NW in Hayfield, MN. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 25th, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st St SE in Hayfield with Pastor Kristen Anderson officiating.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield, followed by a luncheon at Trinity Lutheran Church.
