DONNA MAE KRAMER
The funeral service for Donna Mae Kramer will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church, 109 Main Street in Hayfield, MN with Reverend Zachary Wilson and Reverend Charlie Talcott co-officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield.
Donna Mae Kramer, 85, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 25, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Donna was born on April 2, 1928, the daughter of Leo and Alice (Lewison) Mussman in Claremont, MN. She grew up on a dairy farm in Claremont and attended country school until 8th grade. She graduate from Owatonna High School. As a young lady she worked as a waitress. Donna was united in marriage to Don Kramer on September 6, 1948, in Claremont, MN. Donna enjoyed dancing, cooking, camping and was active in church activities. She was active in the First Presbyterian Church as a Honorary member of the United Presbyterian Women. Donna and Don enjoyed watching their children and grandchildren participate in various sporting activities. They were a prominent fixture in the bleachers at Hayfield High School sporting events for decades.
Donna is survived by her husband, Don Kramer, Hayfield, MN; sons, Terry (Kathy) Kramer, Crosby, MN; Tim Kramer, St. Paul, MN: Tom (LaVae) Kramer, Hayfield, MN; Ted (Jane) Kramer, Hayfield, MN; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; three brothers, Duane (Mary Lou) Mussman, Dodge Center, MN; Don (Pat) Mussman, Stewartville, MN; Dale (Nancy) Mussman, Claremont, MN; two sisters, Ila (Louis) Wagner, Rochester, MN; and Sharon (John) Tuerk, Owatonna, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd St. NW in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
