The memorial service for Donna Mae Yentsch will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church, 109 East Main Street in Hayfield, MN with Reverend Charlie Talcott officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Inurnment was in Blooming Prairie Cemetery.
Donna Mae Yentsch, 86, died on August 5, 2012, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, MN.
Donna Mae was born on July 13, 1926, the daughter of Arthur and Ruth (Grass) Vaith in Blooming Prairie, MN.
Donna was united in marriage to Ernest A. Yentsch on September 19, 1947. In 1969, Donna and Ernest moved to Mesa, AZ. In 1971, Donna and Ernest joined Butler Amusement in California as independent owner/operators. The couple spent their summers in Leech Lake, MN and Apache Junction AZ in the winter.
Donna is survived by her children, Betty (Roger) Jacobson, Hayfield, MN; Thomas (Catharine) Yentsch, Apache Junction, AZ; Cherie (Sonny) Rhein, Coolidge, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Ronald (Mary) Vaith, Owatonna, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ernie in January 1, 2010.
