DWIGHT ARLINGTON COLLETT, JR.
Dwight Arlington Collett, Jr. 84, of Austin, MN passed away on April 12, 2020, at Comfort Care in Austin.
Dwight was born on August 24, 1935, the son of Dwight Arlington and Harriet Esther (Ingram) Collett in Stewartville, MN.
Dwight was united in marriage to Carol Ann Olson on December 21, 1957.
He later was united in marriage to Sue Davis on January 1, 1990.
Dwight worked with Midwest Trucking in Rochester for 25 years and then 25 years for Freerksen Trucking in Dodge Center. He received the million-mile awards and was the owner and operator of his truck.
Dwight is survived by his children, Randy Collett, Corvallis, OR; Terry Collet, Brownsdale, MN; Debra Collett, Hayfield, MN; Scott Collett, Austin, MN; Donald Collett, Rochester, MN; Wanda Collett, Cheyenne, WY; Jodi (Jozef Westgate) Collett, Austin, MN; Kevin Collett, Austin, MN; Elizabeth (James Walker), Austin, MN; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Due to the covid-19 virus there will be a private family burial in Fairview Cemetery.
