Dylan Jeffery Schmidt

Dylan Jeffery Schmidt, 19, left his earthly home on November 27th, 2024.

Dylan was born on August 16, 2005 in Fairmont, MN. He lived in Kasson, MN for most of his life and attended KM schools, where he participated in soccer and band. He completed his senior year at Denfeld High School in Duluth, MN and participated in the DEVO biking club. He graduated in June 2024.

Dylan loved his family, friends and pets. He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time hunting, fishing, biking, skiing or snowboarding, frisbee golfing, skipping rocks and more. He looked forward to spending time at family cabins in Hovland, MN. In addition, he loved mowing lawns and shoveling snow. Legos, cars, music, video games, and cooking were Dylan’s other passions.

Dylan is survived by his parents, Ben and Kelly Schmidt; his siblings, Bryan and Claire; his grandparents and a great-grandmother; and his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Byrl and Florence Cummins, Walter and Nancy Krueger, and Blair Woolsey, as well as his uncle Nathan Cummins.

Dylan will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends and so many others.

A visitation will be at Czaplewski Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE in Kasson, MN on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.  A prayer service will follow, beginning at 3:00 pm, for those that would like to stay and attend.
