EARL WILLIAM EIPERS
The funeral service for Earl William Eipers will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016, at St. John the Baptist De La Salle Catholic Church, 20 ~ 2nd Street NE, Dodge Center, MN with Father Thien Nguyen celebrating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
Visitation will be 5:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at the church and one hour before the service on Thursday.
Earl William Eipers, 80, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center.
Earl was born on January 20, 1936, in Lockport, Illinois, the son of William and Rose (Stamm) Eipers. Earl served in the U.S. Navy from 1955-1957, stationed in Guam. He was united in marriage to Beverly Konicek on December 28, 1955 in Lockport, IL. Earl was a lifetime dairy farmer and competed in numerous plowing matches in Illinois. In 1973, the family moved to Dodge Center and continued dairy farming. Earl was handy and could fix anything. He was a past board member of Ashland Township Board and was also a road grader for the township. Earl was an active member of St. John the Baptist De La Salle Catholic Church.
Earl is survived by three sons, Kevin (Diana) Eipers, Claremont, MN; Randall (Theresa) Eipers, Dodge Center, MN; Steven (Julie) Eipers, Dodge Center, MN; one daughter, Marla Kristine (Bruce) Smith, Dodge Center, MN; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one brother, Gerald (Joyce) Eipers, Dakota, IL; three sisters, Dorothy (Leonard) Strahanoski, Lockport, IL; Gloria Ricken, Joliet, IL; Verna Konicek, Lockport, IL; sister-in-law, Mardell (Ray) McDaniel, Glen Caron, IL; and his faithful Border Collie, Maggie. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly; two sisters, Evelyn Hostert; Cerene Homerding; and one brother Lloyd Eipers. Blessed be his memory.
