EARL JOHN GRONBACH
A memorial service for Earl John Gronbach will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 28959 630th Avenue, Sargeant, MN with Reverend Collin Duling officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
Earl John Gronbach, 85, of Hayfield, MN passed away on April 30, 2016, at his home in Hayfield.
Earl John Gronbach was born on June 14, 1930, the son of Frank and Nora (Hesse) Gronbach in LuVerne, IA. He married his high school sweetheart, Jean Schulz. Together they had six children, Jacquie, Jerry, Sue, Dickie, Kathi and Cindy. They farmed in the early years of their marriage. Dad worked for IBM and retired after 20 years of service at the age of 55. He enjoyed fishing, camping and reading with Mom. They were always together. He loved spending time playing cards and dice with his children and grandchildren. Thank you for giving us everything.
Earl is survived by his son, Jerry Gronbach; daughters, Sue Samuelsson; Kathi Anderson; and Cindy Dahle all of Hayfield, MN; many grandchildren; great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, who loved him dearly; sisters, Ellen Berryhill, Sebring, FL; and Ruth Brayton, Sheffield, IA . He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean; two children; and one great granddaughter.
