Eldora "Dori" May Jensen

Eldora “Dori” May Jensen, 91, passed away February 10, 2019 at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN.

Dori was born September 20, 1927 in Dodge County, the daughter of Thomas and Ruth (Crawford) Meeks. She was united in marriage to Oscar Jensen, October 2, 1945 in Kasson, MN. Dori lived most of her life in Dodge County. Oscar and Dori wintered in Texas for over 20 years. Dori loved dancing with her husband Oscar, being with her family and quilting. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center, MN.

Dori will be missed by their three sons, Dan (Gail) Jensen, Dodge Center, MN; Dennis (Sherry) Jensen, Cookeville, TN; Dale (Lona) Jensen, Dodge Center, MN; two daughters, Dianne (Doug) Martini, Glendale, AZ; Julie (Rick) Schletty, Spooner, WI; nine grandchildren; Amy (Carter) Keller, Ann (Tim) Nicometo, Casey Noland, James Jensen, Michael (Anne) Schletty, Tara (Rick) Meyer, Trisha (Chad) Johnson, Jenny (Scott) Curran, Brian (Kristin) Jensen; 26 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; parents, Thomas and Ruth Meeks; four brother, Hardin, Clyde, Harry and Edward Meeks; two sisters, Ester Baker and Edith Kelly.

Family and friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 and one hour before the service at Faith Lutheran Church, 308 2 ^nd Street NW in Dodge Center, MN.

The funeral service will be Friday, March 1, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with Reverend Barbara Streed officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank Fairview Care Center and St. Croix Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of our Mom. Many thanks also to all others that provided love, care and support to our Mom and our family.

The family request memorials be given to Faith Lutheran Church or charity of donor’s choice.
