ELDORA SOPHIA PAULSRUDE

The memorial service for Eldora Sophia Paulsrude will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Faith Lutheran Church, 308 2nd Street NW in Dodge Center, MN with Reverend Justin Boeding officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
Eldora Sophia Paulsrude, 96, passed away on July 13, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Eldora was born on February 26, 1914, in Jackson County, MN the daughter of Emil and Anna (Hirschell) Novy. Eldora married Luther Paulsrude in August 3, 1942. She received her BS degree in Elementary School education, also a MS degree in Elementary Administration at Mankato State University. She also did graduate work at the U of M. She taught school in Sioux Valley, MN, and Sherburn Public School in Sherburn, MN. She was Principal at the elementary school in Dodge Center, MN and retired in 1978. Eldora served three years as a member of the Executive Board of the Southwest MN and School Principal Association. Eldora has been a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center since 1946, and held various positions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther; parents, Emil and Anna Novy; and sister, Evelyn Teeter.
Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center, 110 West Main Street is in charge of arrangements.
