ELLEN MILDRED DOYLE

Ellen Mildred Doyle, 78, of Kasson, MN passed away on July 14, 2017, in her home with her caregivers at her side.

Ellen was born on June 4, 1939, to Raymond and Mildred (Messman) Doyle in Hackensack, New Jersey. She attended school in Pennsylvania and later moved Rochester, MN with her parents. Later she lived in Iowa, Faribault and Rochester State Hospital before moving to REM in 1972. She moved to Dodge Center in 1990, and to Kasson in 1998.

Ellen was employed by Opportunity Services in Kasson. She worked on many dish crews, cleaning crews and eventually in the center where they folded and shredded paper. She went on various outings in the community and retired in 2015.

Ellen had a great sense of humor. She loved to smile, laugh, and be silly to make others laugh. She loved her co-workers, caregivers, house mates and loved to give hugs and blow kisses. Ellen had many friends. She loved all kinds of food and loved to help make goodies. Ellen loved her many cats. Her last ones were Bonnie and Clyde. She enjoyed the outdoors and would sit on the swing when she lived in Dodge Center and wave at the cars as they drove by. When she moved to Kasson she enjoyed the wrap around deck and liked to watch the neighbor's dogs run and play. Her laugh, smile, and sense of humor will be missed by many.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Dodge Center 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center with visitation one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Cemetery in Rochester, MN.
