The funeral service for Ellen Mae Wilson will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Evanger Lutheran Church, 33554 660th Avenue, Sargeant, MN, with Reverend Lissa Kahl officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in Evanger Lutheran Cemetery in rural Sargeant.

Ellen Mae Wilson, 92, of Hayfield, MN passed away at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, MN on August 13, 2011.

Ellen Mae was born on August 21, 1918, in Hayfield the daughter of Oscar and Louise (Martin) Johnson. Ellen was united in marriage to Spencer H. Wilson on September 14, 1939, at the Evanger Lutheran Church. She was active in the church. Ellen enjoyed sewing, golfing, reading, bowling, and playing cards.

Ellen is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Gene) Rodi of Minneapolis, MN; Carolyn (Sheldon) Azine, of Eden Prairie, MN; Annette (Daniel) Blakley, Rochester, MN; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Spencer in 2005; three brothers; and one sister.
Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield is in charge of arrangements.
The families prefers memorials to Evanger Lutheran Church or Field Crest Care Center.
