ETHELYN ELDORA TRYGSTAD

The funeral service for Ethelyn Eldora Trygstad will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church 70640 - 260th Avenue, Hayfield, MN with Reverend Darby Lawrence officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Ethelyn Eldora Trygstad, 94, died on June 18, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Ethelyn Eldora Roe was born on March 21, 1916, the daughter of Julius and Eda (Hansen) Roe in Dodge County, MN. She attended country schools in Dodge County. Ethelyn was united in marriage to Marvin Trygstad on September 30, 1939, in Rochester, MN. She was a homemaker, and worked for Libby's in Rochester for over 20 years. Ethelyn was active in her church, taught Sunday School and belonged to Ladies Aid. She enjoyed playing cards and planting flowers.
Ethelyn is survived by son, Eugene (Ruth) Trygstad, Kasson, MN; daughter, Beverly (Peter) Gold, Minneapolis, MN; three grandchildren, Ezra (Amy) Gold, Minneapolis, MN; Brian (Crystal Anderson) Trygstad, Hayfield, MN; Jennifer (John) Moen, Caledonia, MN; 2 great grandchildren, Jacob Gold, Minneapolis, MN; and Julian Moen, Caledonia, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin in 1995; one daughter, Darlene Trygstad; three brothers, Clifford, Lester, and Floyd.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 22, 2010, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield at 501 2nd Street NW and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
