EVELYN LOUISE JOHNSON

The funeral for Evelyn Louise Johnson of Rochester, MN and formerly of Dodge Center will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2009, at Faith Community Church at 305 State Street North, West Concord, MN with Rev. David Breederland officiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery in Old Concord, MN.
Evelyn Johnson, 90, died on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Pine River, MN.
Evelyn Gibbons was born on February 23, 1919, the daughter of Frank and Kathryne (Madsen) Gibbons in Ellington Township, Dodge County, MN. She attended West Concord High School. Evelyn was united in marriage to Raymond Johnson on November 29, 1941. She worked at Waters Connelly (Telex) for 27 years, and 8 years at Sams Club. Evelyn was a member of Faith Community Church in West Concord and the Red Hat Society.
Evelyn is survived by sons, Richard (Nancy) Johnson, Dodge Center, MN; Rodney (Dee) Johnson, Maple Grove, MN; daughter, Carol (Chuck) Kinney, Backus, MN; son, Dwayne (Linda) Johnson, Visalia, CA; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond Johnson in 2000; 1 sister and 1 brother.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2009, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 110 West Main Street in Dodge Center and one hour before the service at the church on Friday.
